This Complimentary ISO14001:2015 Seminar provides information about the following:

  1. Why the ISO14001 Standard was updated
  2. Identified major changes to the Standard
  3. Expected roll-out of the new Standard to registered companies
  4. What this mean for businesses who are ISO14001 registered

Revision of the ISO14001 Environmental Management System began in 2012. The nature of the revisions closely aligned with the need for the ISO14001 Standard to be more related to the ISO9001 Standard and in addition, to be more risk based from an environmental perspective. The National Standards Bodies and liaison organizations led the revision of the ISO14001:2004 Standard to create the ISO14001:2015 Standard which is currently in draft phase.

Based on the proposed changes, companies who are already ISO14001 certified must understand their obligations and the expectations of the ISO governing body once the new Standard is released. Companies considering the implementation of the new Standard should be familiar with the main changes within the Standard and how it is more aligned with the existing ISO9001 Standard for a more concise implementation process.

Who Should Attend:

  1. Environmental Managers/Specialists
  2. Management System Lead Auditors
  3. Clients that are considering implementing an ISO14001 system
