The Emissions Group at Pinchin Environmental provides professional engineering services that focus on effective capture, control and environmentally responsible discharge of industrial air emissions. In concert with our Occupational Health and Safety Group we are effective at quickly assessing in-plant or off-property issues and implementing corrective action.
Contaminant overexposure issues are commonly associated with fugitive emissions from process lines, material handling and materials storage coupled with inadequate and frequently non-existent ventilation. Our assessment and engineering design team has experience in a variety of industries including automotive, consumer products, flavour and fragrance, animal and food processing, and printing which translates into effective, timely solutions.

Fume hoods and enclosure systems are uniquely designed for each application, using traditional and advanced engineering practices in VOC and particulate capture. Attention to design ensures optimized capture effectiveness at low exhaust flow rates. Low cost prototypes of enclosures can be constructed for critical applications to ensure optimized functionality and operator buy-in.
General ventilation systems are designed to promote the effectiveness of local ventilation systems while maintaining worker comfort and acceptable pressure balance between segregated environments (i.e., manufacturing, clean rooms, offices and outdoor environments).
Beyond the design engineering services, Pinchin offers tender and contract administration as well as construction project management support for larger or more complex ventilation projects.
