Philip Girard Accredited as Certified General Toxics Use Reduction Planner

Eng., Vice President, Environmental Air and Noise Group, has received his accreditation as a Certified General Toxics Use Reduction (TUR) Planner from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

Phil, who has over two decades of experience in assisting clients with air and noise testing and compliance; climate change; pollution prevention and control; and regulatory affairs, is the first person in Canada to receive the TUR accreditation. He is now in a unique position to guide companies through Ontario’s new Toxics Reductions Act, mandated to reduce pollution from industrial facilities in the province.
