Carbon Neutral
Complimentary Breakfast
(Ontario & Manitoba)
Companies are taking action against Climate Change, reducing emissions, and announcing their intention to go Carbon Neutral or “Greening” their supply chain. At the foundation of corporate Climate Change initiatives is a sound carbon assessment or footprint around which a strategy and management plan can be developed. Pinchin Environmental is pleased to offer a series of information sessions on Climate Change and Greenhouse gas Management for companies across Canada.
These breakfast seminars, led by Patrick Fancott, Manager, Climate Change GHG, Pinchin Environmental, will discuss GHG Management strategies and what it means to be “Carbon Neutral”. Topics covered include:
- Climate Change Update – domestic and international policy and initiatives.
- The business case for taking action – regulatory drivers, disclosure, marketing, corporate social responsibility.
- The Carbon Footprint - how is it determined and what are the rules?
- Carbon Management – developing a strategy, setting targets, assessing mitigation and offset options.
- Carbon offsets – are they all created equally?
