Greenhouse Gases
Planning and Management
- 1 Day Course -
Many companies are not aware of the impact of their business on climate change. Pinchin Environmental offers a 1-day course on how to measure an organization’s Carbon Footprint.
This course does not have a pre-requisite and is intended for property managers, SMEs, environmental and health & safety managers, corporate risk managers, and energy engineers to assist and prepare them to independently assess their carbon footprint and develop their own GHG management plan. The course is not intended for attendees from the Large Final Emitters (LFEs) who will be negotiating specific details with the Canadian Government and are likely well along in producing there own carbon quantification and reduction programs.
The course will focus on the most widely used international accounting protocols (the GHG Protocol and ISO14064-1) for quantifying and managing GHG emissions.
You will also learn about greenhouse gases and their effect on the environment and international efforts to reduce GHG emissions. The course will specifically outline the Canadian Government’s current activities in this area and assist businesses in preparing for potential mandatory and voluntary programs.
At the end of this course, you will be able to develop your company’s GHG management plan, quantify, report and verify your total greenhouse gas emissions.
Cost: $595 plus GST per person (new lower price ! )
