Re: H1N1 Prevention
Pinchin Environmental is taking a proactive, measured approach in dealing with the H1N1. We have enacted visitor restrictions in an effort to protect employees from exposure to respiratory illnesses, such as seasonal flu and H1N1 flu. Visitors are requested to comply with the following:
- No visitation by anyone who is ill with any respiratory symptoms including coughing, fever, etc.
We ask that all visitors with flu-like symptoms inform their Pinchin contact person prior to their visit to our offices. Flu-like symptoms include:
- Cough and fever, sometimes with chills and sweating spells;
- One or more of the following symptoms: fatigue, muscle and/or joint aches, sore throat, headache, decreased appetite, runny nose, diarrhea.
Proper hand hygiene is one of the best defences to prevent respiratory illnesses. Pinchin Environmental has placed hand sanitizing wipes and hand gels throughout the office, and encourages frequent hand washing, especially after coughing or sneezing and washroom usage.
We request that visitors refrain from handshaking to minimize cross contamination.
Sincerely,
Jeff Grossi, C.A
Chief Operating Officer
Pinchin Environmental Ltd.
