You should be an experienced project manager or consultant with a strong background in the energy management and reduction areas, preferably both industrial and commercial. You have an ability to immediately identify energy reduction opportunities and strategies and will be completely familiar with current—and potential future—conservation solutions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining successful client relationships from initial consultation through to proposal submission, project implementation and follow-up. Teamwork and interpersonal skills are a given, as you will move between our Climate Change GHG and Building Science groups, broadening your expertise in these areas. GHG Project Coordinator Reporting to the Manager of the Climate Change GHG Group, you will take charge of GHG inventories and projects, coordinating proposal preparation, liaising with clients, and communicating Pinchin’s GHG services. You have a university degree in science or engineering with 5+ years of experience in fee for service consulting and a strong background in client relations. You don’t necessarily need to be a GHG specialist; however, a basic understanding of climate change, GHG emissions management and quantification, government policy, and air emissions is a definite asset. In our dynamic learning environment, you will develop expertise in the area of GHG project quantification methods and keep current on technical and regulatory changes. Motivated and self-directed, you will be a multi-tasker able to keep pace in this exciting and rapidly shifting field.
