Project Technologist
Winnipeg - REF# MLD-PT6

Responsibilities & Attributes:

The Mould and Indoor Air Quality Group is seeking a Building Science, Architectural or Construction Technologist, Environmental Scientist or a related field to fill the position of Project Technologist.  The overall responsibilities for this position include:

  • Performing on-site investigations for the presence of mould and other indoor air quality concerns and preparing investigation reports;
  • On-site inspection and air monitoring services during removal of mould;
  • Sampling and analysis of various environmental samples;
  • Preparing hand written or typed reports & drawings detailing the findings and recommendations;
  • Maintaining and enhancing quality control within the group.

Qualifications:

A valid drivers license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work-related travel expenses will be compensated).  Training will be provided on laboratory & field safety as well as any other specific job related activities.  Recent graduates are encouraged to apply to this entry level position as experience is not mandatory.

Responsibilities & Attributes:

The Peterborough office is seeking a college or university graduate of a Building Science, Architectural or Construction Technologist, Environmental Science or a related program to fill the position of Project Technologist.  The overall responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Performing on-site investigations for the presence of hazardous materials, mould and other indoor air quality concerns and preparing investigation reports;
  • On-site inspection and air monitoring services during removal of mould contaminated and /or hazardous materials;
  • Collection, sampling and  analysis of various environmental parameters ;
  • Sampling and analysis of various environmental samples;
  • Preparing hand written or typed reports & drawings detailing the findings and recommendations;
  • Maintaining and enhancing quality control within the group.

Qualifications:

A valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required.  Work-related travel expenses will be compensated.  Training will be provided on laboratory & field safety as well as any other specific job related activities.  Recent graduates are encouraged to apply to this entry level position however past mould and asbestos consulting experience is preferred.
