Environmental Impact Assessment & Environmental Engineering
Through environmental impact assessment, the Environmental Assessment Group identifies environmental conditions that may result – either directly or indirectly – in unacceptable environmental or financial risk. Environmental engineering is used to develop solutions for managing or remediating this risk.
Our staff are trained and experienced in the identification of all aspects of environmental risk, originating from the surface or subsurface site characteristics or from the buildings or structures present on the site.
With a network of offices across Canada, we are thoroughly familiar with regional regulatory and environmental differences, and can undertake single or multiple assessments in an efficient and cost effective manner, meeting the most stringent time frames. As an example, in response to an urgent client request, this capability allowed us to complete 130 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in three provinces within 30 days, and a follow-up group of 25 sites for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in seven days.
