Asbestos Awareness
Complimentary Breakfast - Winnipeg
Current Manitoba Labour regulations place specific obligations on employers with regard to the management of asbestos in buildings. Employers and building owners have several options for managing asbestos and minimizing the risk to employees and building tenants.
This session will provide information on identification of asbestos in the workplace, health hazards and how to manage any asbestos work safely. The key elements of an effective Asbestos Management Program will be discussed.
The breakfast is not intended for maintenance workers or contractors who will undertake or supervise asbestos work personally.
Registration:
This Complimentary Breakfast will be held at the Pinchin Environmental Winnipeg Office, 54 Terracon Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Map)
