Other Hazardous Materials

Pinchin can also identify and assist in the control of other building-related environmental and health issues. A common concern in the renovation or demolition of industrial buildings is the residues of past operations, i.e. paint overspray, settled dust and residues in ventilation or process ductwork. These residues may be hazardous due to toxic properties, or may be reactive or caustic.

Pinchin will identify the type and extent of contamination, assess the likely risk to renovation workers and the ultimate users of the facility and prepare decontamination procedures.
