The Legionella bacterium is well known to live in warm water, such as in cooling towers, hot water storage tanks, potable water systems etc. However, it can also thrive in whirlpools or hot tubs, decorative fountains within buildings and even in the industrial sector such as water-cooling processes etc.
Legionella Water Analysis
The Pinchin Environmental Laboratory provides professional analytical services for water and swab samples. Sample analysis will identify and determine concentrations of Legionella pneumophila, its serogroups and other Legionella species.
