Radon Test Kits Order Form
Radon levels can vary significantly from hour to hour, day to day, and even more so from season to season. As a result, long-term tests are recommended for accurately estimating the annual radon concentration in a building.
|Health Canada recommends that radon testing be conducted during the heating season
from approximately October to April for a minimum period of 91 days.
Below are the radon detectors we have available for purchase and include the following:
- Chain of Custody form
- Detector deployment instruction sheet
- Laboratory analysis of your kit
- Follow-up result report with recommendations, as required, regarding a time frame for mitigation as per Health Canada’s guideline
- A self addressed return envelope (postage not included)
Long-term Radon Detector
Long-term tests range from 91 days to 1 year in length. If the test is not fully conducted between October and April, we recommend that the detector be deployed for 1 year.
Short-term Radon Detector
Short-term tests are deployed for a period of typically 3 days.
Rapidos Radon Detector
Rapidos tests are deployed for a period of 3-10 days.
Combo Detector Package
Combo includes one long-term detector and one rapidos detector.
