Ontario Regulation 419/05:. Industries listed in Schedule 4 will be required to demonstrate compliance using advanced atmospheric dispersion models. Compliance will be measured against more stringent point of impingement limits. Schedule 2 will become effective for other manufacturers.

The Ontario Ministry of Environment has posted 3 notices that would give the Minster the authority to establish sector-specific technical standards. The MOE also posted 10 Notices regarding new air standards for the various compounds.

The Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has posted for comment a Policy Proposal Notice that provides emission limits for power generator sets that are used in non-emergency situations such as for peak shaving or in the Ontario Power Authorities (OPA) Demand Response (DR) Program. The limits will apply to internal combustion engines running on diesel, bio-diesel, natural gas, or dual fuel (natural gas/diesel) systems.
