Confined Space Entry

Effective last September 30, 2006 the Ontario Ministry of Labor (MOL) rolled out its new amendments to the Confined Space Regulations.

In particular, O.Reg. 851, Sec. 119.4 dealing with industrial establishments, contained significant changes to the definitions of a Confined Space, as well as the requirement for a more detailed and action based response plan for Confined Space Rescue.

For Mangers, Supervisors and Workers, this 1 day course will detail the requirements for comprehensive and site specific Confined Space and Rescue Programs.

Main teaching points include:

  • definitions,
  • hazard control,
  • rescue elements
  • written procedures for permits and roles and responsibilities.
In addition, equipment for rescue will be displayed and site specific applications will be outlined.

Cost: $345  plus GST per person
