EH&S Compliance Workshop
2010 EH&S Compliance Management Seminar for Ontario Manufacturers
Are You Aware of All the New & Amended Regulatory Requirements?
This EH&S Compliance Breakfast, specifically prepared for 2010, will ensure those tasked with EH&S responsibilities are up to date regarding recently announced regulatory initiatives and have a strategy in place to achieve and maintain compliance.
Why You Should Attend
Ontario manufacturers will have to contend with:
- The Toxics Reduction Act and Regulation 455/09 which came into effect on January 1
- The phase-in of Ontario Regulation 419/05 Schedule 2 "Air Compliance Limits"
The new Act and Regulation will require companies to track toxic chemical use, production, and destruction in their manufacturing processes and to develop toxic chemical reduction plans and report to the public and government on progress made.
Additionally, The Ontario Ministry of Labour (MOL) continues their focus on occupational health and safety (OH&S) enforcement through the implementation of the "Safe at Work Ontario" compliance strategy.
2010 brings a number of new MOL initiatives including:

Employers need to be aware of these initiatives so they plan now and act accordingly to improve their management system and maintain compliance.
