An unplanned release of any hazardous materials can have a significant impact on personal safety and site production. Statistics have shown that well trained internal resources can limit the severity of a spill and the impact it has on the workplace.
This 1 day training course is designed for management, supervisors and any members of a spill response, or emergency organization. Employing accepted industry standards such as OSHA CFR 1910.120, and CAN/CSA-Z731-03, the training will describe the required procedures for safe and effective spill response operations.
Participants will learn how to establish a mandate, limitations, PPE, leadership, as well as the use of emergency response checklists. Further training may be done on the client’s site to produce an effective and competent response capability.
This course is presented Onsite only.
