Basic Spills Training

An unplanned release of any hazardous materials can have a significant impact on personal safety and site production. Statistics have shown that well trained internal resources can limit the severity of a spill and the impact it has on the workplace.

This training course is designed for management, supervisors and any members of a spill response, or emergency organization. Employing accepted industry standards such as OSHA CFR 1910.120, and CAN/CSA-Z731-03, the training will describe the required procedures for safe and effective spill response operations.

Participants in this 1 day program will learn how to establish a mandate, limitations, PPE, leadership, as well as the use of emergency response checklists. Further training may be done on the client’s site to produce an effective and competent response capability.
