If you own or lease a commercial, industrial or multi-residential property in Mississauga, this new Stormwater By-Law affects you.

On May 7, 2015, Mississauga City Council passed a By-Law allowing the City to charge property owners for stormwater discharges.  This By-Law, has taken effect on January 1, 2016 and will be added to the Region of Peel’s Water and Sewer bill as an additional line item.

The City has developed a credit program that can reduce the annual charge for a given property by up to 50%.  The City has released a credit application guidance document in mid-September of 2015 which details the credit process.

This seminar will inform you of the changes taking place, and how these fees can be reduced.
