1. Do I need to take infection control training to perform construction, renovation and repair in Health Care Facilities?

Some hospitals or heath authorities require this training for all workers performing construction, renovation or repair. It is recommended for all supervisors to hold the infection control training inline with the CSA Z317.13:22 standard.

2. Is the training equivalent to the CSA Training?

The training provided is approved for copyright use by the CSA Group. It is recommended to check with hospital or health authority infection control practitioner if 3rd party training is acceptable.

3. What prerequisites are required for the infection control training?

Each attendee must purchase or have access to a group account copy of the CSA Z317.13:22 standard.

4. Is a certificate provided upon course completion?

Yes, following completion of the course and proof of the CSA Z317.13:22 standard purchase or group account, a completion certificate will be provided regarding the principles and applicable of the CSA Z317.13:22 standard.
