The Board of Directors of Pinchin Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jeff Grossi to the leadership role of Chief Executive Officer. Following the recent passing of Pinchin’s founder, Dr. Donald Pinchin, Mr. Grossi assumed the role of acting-President, pending the Board’s implementation of a long-term succession plan. Mr. Grossi had previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Pinchin since 2007. The Board met on September 29th to discuss the succession plan, with the objectives of continuing Dr. Pinchin’s mission and vision, and maintaining the company’s corporate culture.
In addition to the appointment of Mr. Grossi, the Board of Directors has approved the following changes:
Mr. Robert Thomas, P.Eng. will assume the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Technical Officer. He will be responsible for the overall direction of Pinchin’s technical services as well as maintenance of the company’s high standards of technical expertise and quality service. Mr. Thomas has over 25 years’ tenure with Pinchin, during which time he has been instrumental in the growth of the Hazardous Building Materials service line and most recently, held responsibility for the leadership of the Mississauga Buildings & Built Environments group.
Pinchin’s organizational re-structure includes the creation of a new role to oversee all services delivered within the Greater Toronto Area. As such, Mr. Vico Paloschi, P.Geo. has been appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, GTA Services, with responsibility for the ongoing development of the practice groups in the GTA, including offices in Mississauga, Toronto, Peterborough and a new office in Oshawa. Mr. Paloschi has been with Pinchin for 10 years, during which time he has grown the Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation group into a major national service provider.
Said Mr. Grossi, “These appointments reflect our Board of Directors’ commitment to excellence in the service of our Clients, and to the culture that we value. Our Board is confident that we have strong leadership in place across all disciplines – leadership that will keep Pinchin on track with its strategic plans including the merger with Pinchin West in 2017.”
