Health & Safety Policy and Program Development

Employers are legally obligated to develop and implement policies and programs to keep their workers safe. The first step to preparing any effective health and safety program is to complete a site-specific hazard analysis to identify potential risk areas in the workplace. Pinchin has decades of experience leading client health and safety teams through these hazard assessments, preparing programs and policies, and evaluating existing programs and policies to ensure they will be effective at protecting workers.

Pinchin will work with management, Joint Health and Safety Committees or Health and Safety Representatives, and workers to develop policies and programs that work for your business. Our staff includes qualified trainers to lead employee training on various topics including:

  • Confined space awareness and entry
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Fall prevention and fall arrest
  • Spill prevention and response
