Global Harmonized System

As business grows beyond our communities and even beyond our country, the need for standardized classification and communication of chemical hazards grows with it. In 2015, Canada has aligned our existing Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) to ensure proper communication and training for all hazardous substance in the workplace, regardless of their place of origin.

Pinchin’s team of qualified Certified Industrial Hygienists, Registered Occupational Hygienists, and Canadian Registered Safety Professionals can work with your purchasing and health & safety staff to ensure the new GHS requirements are effectively implemented in your workplace, and provide training to all workers on the requirements of the new system.
